Frequently Asked Questions.

Bundling TPA service to the carrier network is often sold as a convenience, but ultimately this short-changes the plan sponsor and covered employees.  Standalone TPAs like Delta can offer more options, more services, and a better customer service experience than carrier TPA solutions.  When choice, risk management, and flexibility matters, a standalone TPA is the best option for any plan sponsor.

No.  Delta Health Systems is a full-service Third Party Administrator (TPA) of Self-Funded plans spanning Medical, Dental, Vision, Wellness, Education and other solutions.  While many of our clients have Delta Dental as their dental network of choice, and we administer that benefit for our clients, we have no affiliation with Delta Dental.

As of 2021 Delta Health Systems offers medical plans through Aetna, Anthem, Blue Shield of CA, Cigna, Networks by Design, First Health, Multiplan.  Dental Networks offered are Anthem, Cigna, and First Health Dental.

Delta is privately owned, without obligation to shareholders or investors.  This allows Delta to go where other TPAs will not in services and pricing.

Delta Health Systems is one-of-a-kind in the Third Party Administrator (TPA) space.  Privately owned with many long-tenured employees of 20+ years, Delta is unsurpassed in experience with 50+ years as a TPA in California.  Additionally, Delta’s product suite is unique with a robust wellness product program, a data and analytics platform powered by Deerwalk, and Delta Navigator, an industry-first program that combines the best elements of concierge, coaching and provider steerage.
